Job Title: Level 3 EYFS Nursery Assistant

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the daily care, development, and learning of children aged 2-4 years in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
• Support children in their social, emotional, and physical development.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
• Previous experience working with children in an EYFS setting.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

The post is full-time Tues- Thursday 10-6 with Monday being 8-1 and Friday  8-2pm.This post is currently term time only but there is scope to assist in running a holiday club for 3-4 weeks every year during school holidays.

The school operates a no-smoking policy.

Due to the location, it will be necessary for applicants to have their own transport. The school checks all new appointments with the Disclosure & Barring Service previously Criminal Records Bureau for any criminal, or other background, that might disqualify an individual from working with children. The successful applicant will therefore be subject to a DBS Enhanced Disclosure. The school will also require the successful applicant to complete a medical questionnaire.
